Bruins’ Milan Lucic Undergoes Successful Surgery on Broken Finger

Let the recovery begin for Milan Lucic. The Bruins forward underwent successful surgery to repair a broken right index finger, according to general manager Peter Chiarelli. The surgery was performed by Dr. Matthew Leibman at Massachusetts General Hospital on Sunday, Oct. 18. Lucic was placed on long-term injured reserve, retroactive to Oct. 16, and should be out for 4-6 weeks.
