SEATTLE — Hanley Ramirez’s wrist bent, but luckily for the Boston Red Sox, it did not break.
Ramirez jammed his left wrist while reaching to break a fall on a set of stairs leading from the dugout to the visiting clubhouse at Safeco Field after Tuesday night’s 5-4 loss to the Seattle Mariners. Ramirez, who was playing first base, was taken immediately for an X-ray and underwent an MRI on Wednesday, both of which were negative for a fracture.
